The Port of Palm Beach has placed its security under review after an Oklahoma man was arrested after two 9 mm rounds were found in his bag as he tried to board a cruise ship.

Wenrich, 31, of Virginia, was arrested after two 9 mm rounds were found in his bag after he tried to board the Carnival Magic ship on March 23.

A South African man faces two charges of assault with a deadly weapon after he reportedly stabbed two people at a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

The incident occurred last month when a woman, later described as unstable and uncooperative, boarded the Harmony of the Seas ship in St. Maarten.

Bringing a gun on a cruise ship is a serious offense and if found guilty can come with a punishment of up to 12 years in prison.
